We at the Third Rail Party refer to the Republican and Democrat parties as the Legacy Parties. One of the reasons for this is that we think they are much like “legacy code” is to businesses and should be dealt with accordingly. They might have worked well at some point. They may kinda still work ok, but they are stuck in the past. They have failed to keep up with the progress the rest of us have made. Their inner workings are a black box full of spaghetti created by people with inadequate training who are hopelessly out of touch with the latest tools and methods. The system, as it is, makes everyone a slave to its flaws and inadequacies. Overall performance suffers dramatically as a result. Somehow, those selling it still seem to make out ok. All of this is true, but it is especially true of legacy code at government agencies.
This description of outdated software that is a burden on its users can be leveled against our government as a whole under the boot of the Legacy Parties. The silly, spurious procedures that inhibit Congress from making meaningful progress were created out of thin air by those in power, in order to keep them in power and to keep everything status quo. Not a single one of them is listed as any kind of requirement in our our Constitution. Parliamentary parlor tricks were bad enough when they were used to thwart the other party, but now we have collusion with these tricks in order to thwart the American people. If you don’t believe us, go read all of the “continuing resolutions” that have comprised what these crooks call budgeting and planning. The Covid emergency never ended for them. The spending orgy goes on. The graft goes on. For the past 5 years it has been “we can’t change anything for now” and we continue to spend eight trillion dollars a year - three of which we borrow, one of which constitutes payment to the moneychangers and another three of which pretty much disappears.
Meanwhile, the media masters continue to brainwash the weak minded masses with their Jedi mind tricks. “These aren’t the criminals you’re looking for. Move along.” They enforce their insidious agenda with silence - by refusing to acknowledge, let alone report on the matters that are important to our Republic. They have long since abdicated their standing as the “fourth estate.” They speak only lies and acknowledge no truth. They glorify and promote those who signal a willingness to do evil. They condemn and falsely accuse any who call them out. They have a symbiotic relationship with the Legacy Parties. Our senators are just anchors reading the teleprompter.
If nothing is done, America will die sitting on the sofa with a bowl of cheetos in its lap, playing GTA. It would be as if the men who met at the Green Dragon all just said fuck it and went to the whorehouse. A choice is being made. Yes, we are being tempted into it by the devil, but it is still a choice. There is still a chance. We can all sit by while our Republic is carved up and sold off for scrap in a hostile takeover or we can take the power back.
The Legacy Parties must be stopped. Their leaders must be deposed. Their power must be diluted. Neither of them can ever be let into a single majority in our houses of Congress again. Our government must work for the people or it is time for a new government.
The answer to this is not armed insurrection, but political revolution. Only through a third party can the power of the Legacy Parties be checked. We have three branches of government for a reason. It is ludicrous to enforce a two party system for the same reason. Do not listen to people like Elon Musk, who talk smack and then blow it off. Believe him when he name drops us and writes us a check. He panicked when he got caught with his expensive knife at a machine gun fight. He found out he wasn’t such a badass after all. He can’t do it alone. We must do it together. It can be done, but it will be a street fight in the metaphorical sense and most likely a literal one, too, when the establishment figures out we really are coming for them.
The alternative is to die a death of a thousand cuts. With all respect to General John Bell Hood, we invoke him when we say to our current government - “Better to die a thousand deaths than submit to live under you, your corrupt party system or your globalist allies.”
